It’s been just about one year since GAM presented the alopecia areata community with a revolutionary new message about research, one that has lit a fire that has spread across the world. In the spirit of celebration of its first year, and a general sense of liberty, GAM has announced the Freedom from Alopecia Money Bomb for July 2012.

“It’s an idea whose time has come, ” said Rob Swierski, Exec. Dir. of GAM. “Only through research can we free ourselves from this disease.”

In the spirit of the season, GAM’s founders and volunteers have drafted an Alopecian Declaration of Independence, airing their grievances and announcing their intentions to the world.
